FS2000 Scenery BCRiver/James Inlet
British Columbia, Canada
by Jim Faircloth (jrfdjf@earthlink.net)

This is my 11th and possibly last project for this beautiful section of the
Canadian Rockies. There are two separate lake locations and both are near
the coastal regions. Both locations have new lake textures not included in
any of my previous projects. You will find in addition to the lake communities
a paved 3000' runway at BC River and at James Inlet, a dirt strip for wheel
based aircraft.

Navigation: An NDB is available for both locations. BCRiver 323Mhz and James Inlet 322Mhz.
Approx. coordinates: BCRiver, N51*02'01 W125*36'01 James Inlet, N50*42'52 W125*26'53

Installation: For those who have any of my previous sceneries in this series just unzip to
a temp directory and then copy the bgl files from the BCRIVER Scenery folder into whichever
scenery folder you have the previous project's bgls. Do the same with the textures from the BCRIVER texture folder into your other project's texture folder. You then start FS2000 and
and from the FS95 and Before menu you will find lake and runway start locations for both BC River and James Inlet.
First time installers may also add this project as a new entry in the same fashion as most other scenery addons utilizing FS2000's scenery library function. There are no flatten or exclude switches to mess with. This entails copying the entire BCRIVER folder
and pasting it to wherever you keep your scenery addons and then opening the scenery library, Add new files, browse to the location of the BCRIVER folder and then double click
on it to place it in the location window then type BCRIVER in the file description window,
click on the check mark and then OK and wait for FS2000 to do it's thing. You access the four start locations from the FS95 and Before menu selection.

Requirements: This project is graphic intensive and requires at least a beefy Pentium 2 processor and minimum of 128megs of RAM. I always test my projects on a slower computer which is a Dell 400 with an nVidia 8meg card with scenery density set to at least Dense or higher.
No local inhabitants are visible at Normal density. You will find this project similar in
frame rates to most of my other sceneries in this series.
You will need ASD2.1 textures as well as Airport 2.X and Vod textures installed in your main FS2000 texture folder.

Credits/Disclaimers: These files are freeware and should not be used for any commercial purposes. I cannot be held responsible for any problems or damage you may incur for using these files. I wish to thank the many developers and contributors to the programs used in the development of this project which includes Abacus for FSDS, ASD 2.1, Rafael Sanchez for BMP2000 and BMP2000EXT and Jasc Software for Paintshop Pro 7. I would also like to thank the many people who's likenesses were utilized in the making of the textures you will find in these projects and were obtained from multiple sources but who's identities were not listed. Hopefully, nobody will be offended for their contribution to this freeware non-commercial project.
